Summer is just around the corner, and that means we're already dreaming of beach weather. And if you still need some inspiration for your summer getaway, you're in luck (if you live somewhere that's warm all year already — #jealous). We've rounded up some of the most popular beaches in the world, based on data from our friends at Instagram. It's easy to see why tourists and locals alike can't stop snapping pics of these gorgeous shores. Click through to see some of our favorites — we apologize in advance for the FOMO.

Fort Lauderdale Beach, Florida
Fort Lauderdale's year-round good weather (the average temperature is 75 degrees!) keeps visitors flocking to its sandy shores all season.

Long Beach, California
Long Beach has many of the prerequisites of a perfect SoCal beach: piers, palm trees, and a ferris wheel — all just steps from a bustling urban area.

Pattaya Beach, Thailand
Located just steps from the city of Pattaya and lined with hotels and restaurants, this is one of the most popular beaches in Asia.

Boracay White Beach, Philippines
A small island accessible only by boat, Boracay's White Beach is beloved by resort-goers and backpackers alike.

Bondi Beach, Australia
Located outside of Sydney, Bondi Beach is one of the world's most famous — and most photographed. And it's pretty easy to see why.

Panama City Beach, Florida
PCB may be known primarily as a destination for spring breakers and beachside beer bongs, but if you wander a bit north, the giant hotels thin out, and you can enjoy some solitude.

Laguna Beach, California
If you hear "Laguna Beach" and immediately think of Lauren Conrad and Kristin Cavallari, let this be your reminder that the actual beach is pretty great, too.

Surfer's Paradise, Australia
Sometimes, everything you need to know about a place is contained in its name.

Ocean Beach, California
A beach doesn't need sand to be stunning. Case in point: San Diego's Ocean Beach.

Myrtle Beach, South Carolina
Southern charms and miles of brown-sugar coastline make this beach a go-to spot for vacationing East Coasters.

Santa Cruz, California
While SoCal may dominate when it comes to the most Instagrammed beaches, this charming beachfront is enough to put NorCal on the map.

Miami Beach, Florida
In the words of Will Smith, this is the type of town we could spend a few days in — especially on the beach.

Venice Beach, California
Renowned for its muscle men and roller-bladers, the funky SoCal hot spot also has the honor of being the most Instagrammed beach in the world.
