Update: Before you think that's an endorsement from Obama for the Kardashians, listen to what he said later. During the president's speech, he mentioned Kendall by name. He said that she seems like a nice young woman. He added, "I don't exactly know what she does, but I'm told my Twitter mentions are going to go through the roof."

Kendall Jenner walks the fashion shows in Paris and New York. She’s also a frequent fixture on reality TV. But that doesn’t mean she doesn't get starstruck. According to People, that is exactly what happened when she met President Obama at this year’s White House Correspondents’ Dinner. Jenner told the magazine that the president told her, “Say hi to Kim and Kanye for me.” All Jenner could think of in response was, “Okay.”

She might seem like one of the more unlikely guests at this year’s White House Correspondents’ Dinner, but Jenner has also been making headlines lately for her involvement with Rock The Vote. She even made a Rosie the Riveter-inspired poster for the organization.

Jenner is using her popularity and her platform to encourage her followers to get involved. That involvement is something that everyone can get behind.

So, she shakes the president’s hand and can’t think of what to say. Who can blame her for getting a little tongue-tied when she meets the leader of the free world?
