Donald Trump has reached the magic number of 1,237 delegates needed to secure the Republican nomination, according to The Associated Press .
Though he was the presumptive nominee after the withdrawal of his last opponents, Texas Sen. Ted Cruz and Ohio Gov. John Kasich, in early May, Trump was still short of the confirming delegate count until Thursday.
The final push over the finish line comes from a number of unbound delegates who told the AP on Thursday morning that they would cast their votes for Trump at the Republican National Convention in July, giving him a final count of 1,238. Trump has so far won 32 states and territories.
Despite Trump's presumed victory, there are still five Republican contests to be held. Four of them will be on June 7, when Montana, New Jersey, New Mexico, and heavy hitter, California, will hold their primaries.
Ahead, catch up on the outcomes from contests held so far. And be sure to check back to see how things continue to unfold.
